Ionia Township Regular Board Meeting Minutes
January 9, 2024
Meeting called to order by Supervisor, Kurt Scheurer
Members present: Scheurer, Lynn, Harp, Pitchford, McCoy
Motion by Scheurer and supported by Harp to pay bills on hand. Motion passed.
Motion by Scheurer and supported by Pitchford to pay Board of Review members $50 for
annual certification renewal training. Motion passed.
Motion by Scheurer and supported by McCoy to approve election workers – Macky Waters, Madi
Lynn, Ella Cusack, Kyle Parks, Heather Wolcott, Jody Garrison, Cindy Masengale and Alex
Snarski. Motion passed.
Motion by Scheurer and supported by Lynn to increase the Election Workers budget from
$1,000 to $5,000 due to three elections this fiscal year. Motion passed.
Motion by Scheurer and supported by Harp to increase Cemetery Other Costs budget from
$15,000 to $85,000 due to extra maintenance and improvements. Motion passed.
Motion by Scheurer and supported by Harp to pay Deputy Clerk $595 for hours worked. Motion
passed.
Motion by Harp and supported by Lynn to adjourn the meeting passed.
Ionia Township Public Accuracy Test will be held Tuesday February 13, 2024 at 6:00pm.
